Aren’t these gingerbread so darling? from the Simply Sugar and Gluten Free blog.
So, after I wrote my last post on my new wheat-free challenge, things have been going quite well. It’s day four and nothing has felt a real struggle; if anything, I feel that cravings for sweets have really reduced and I’m still totally satisfied eating non-wheat-laden entrees. All was well until my mom sent me an email in response to that last post:
Wow what a great blog. Great connection and inspirations honey!
But, wheatfree during the cookie holiday of the year???
And just like that, my heart sunk a little. NO COOKIES?!!! On Christmas????!!!!!
Have no fear mom, the world of gluten-free-bloggers is here. Next week, I’ll be getting together with the Food Bloggers Los Angeles group for a cookie swap and I look forward to baking and trying out some of these visually delicious wheat-free baked goods.
Sweet and Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies from my friend Susan at the Urban Baker.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Squares from another Susan and her blog Fork and Beans.
Gluten-free honey-spice madeleines from the Gluten Free Girl and the Chef.
Those gingerbread are cute! And thanks for including me in your round-up. I love Shauna's madelines and I promise to bake something scrumptious for this Saturday's cookie swap! xx
Of course Susan, I myself think it's never too late to reinvent the chocolate chip cookie! thanks for the inspiration!
Those gingerbread men are decorated so cutely! I like the new blog. My husband and I have been seriously considering trying gluten-free living for the new year…..
